Duo Stellae

The Duo Stellae was formed in December 2012 by Mª Victoria Jericó (violin) and Manuel López Jorge (piano) students at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. They share a profound delight in Chamber Music that has been increased and developed by forming part of other awarded groups.

Their interest in exploring a large repertoire of late and contemporary music has brought them to première in march of the present year a piece for violin and piano called "Claroscuro" composed by Manuel López Jorge in London.

During the Royal Greenwich String Quartet Festival they were selected to participate in the Chamber Music Bonanza, receiving masterclasses with Quatuor Mosaïques, Krysia Osostowicz and Carducci Quartet and performing in the final concert in St. Alfege Church.

They have also been chosen by Trinity Laban to performe during a Chamber Music Platfom in Wigmore Hall.

They have performed in places such as St. Dunstan-in-the-West and  the Old Royal Naval College Chapel. Among their concerts during this year stands out their presence in the Music Festival PAM'14 in Spain and some concerts in Scotland in spring.
